Technology

The stack favours open standards, cloud-native formats, and reproducible infrastructure, and it spans the full stack: from Terraform-provisioned infrastructure and containerised data pipelines up to TypeScript and NodeJS services and React frontends. The engineering approach is deliberately pragmatic: technologies are selected not only for how well they serve the data and decision-making process, but also for how they reduce dependency on proprietary ecosystems.

Where a product calls for it, that means a lean full-stack application: a typed API in front of the data and a responsive React interface on top. Where it doesn't, the same data is served as lightweight, standalone applications with minimal backend requirements. Either way, the architecture stays cost-efficient, portable, and resilient, creating room for innovation that isn't constrained by the strategic decisions or lock-in models of software vendors.
